Hey Karlan, this is my response as a never-sent-you christmas card. I fucking love those things, I’m actually excited to be in a bigger house where I can display more stuff like your’s in a row.
I cannot thank you enough for being my super deep minded friend that I get to talk about good and meaty subjects with. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out and draw together, I’d love to learn watercolor with you.
Thank you, almost three years ago, for singing on my 50th. I will never forget that and always treasure that memory.

The Two Rules I had for myself
- could never lean into seeking external validation, all of it had to be what I found had meaning to me.
