I wrote this stream of consciousness – and didn’t really spillcheck. 😉
I have finished my animated short and this is your formal invite to watch it. You’ll need 25 minutes to see the entire thing (if you want, you surely don’t have to and it’s a-ok to scrub the vid, like anything I share it’s not a requirement).
I wanted to share it with you, personally because there’s a personal message to you (after the 17:00 mark).
I also wanted to let you know there were times in this where knowing you helped guide the process. I don’t know how to exactly sum it up, but a part of my brain has always held you as the shield to performing “cringe”…if that makes any sense. (it barely makes sense to me). You are one of the few people that I feel can see straight through me, and because of that, I try to be more authentic in my work (or the opposite where I’m defiant but even then, the defiance is because I feel seen by you).
I hope that kinda makes sense, it’s meant to be a compliment and a reason I enjoy having you as a friend.
I love you, Jeff.
Art Project: “Surfing the Apocalypse”
The Two Rules I had for myself
could never lean into seeking external validation, all of it had to be what I found had meaning to me.
I picked around twenty people to share this with, personally and you are one of them. You never have to watch, share or reply. I love it and watch all my videos over and over…this has been very healing to me.
This is a reflection of my how my brain interprets the world around it and how I see things.
oh and pay no attention to the likes thing below, it’s some code I put in to be funny and now I don’t know how to get rid of it, nor do I care… lolz.

real small towns with fake stories by fake people with real heart.
These fake beings existed in my real head but it started getting overcrowded in my noggin. So to make some room, I built them a fake world they could live in.
