I wrote this stream of consciousness – and didn’t really spillcheck.
I have finished my animated short and this is your formal invite to watch it. You’ll need 25 minutes to see the entire thing (if you want, you surely don’t have to and it’s a-ok to scrub the vid).
I’ve known you for around a college career. I have lifelong friends that I met during college, so I expect us to be lifelong friends where we never say hello or goodbye, just pick up where we left off.
You look happy as being a mama and as always, I love your art as well as I love you. This video was possible because of you, and because of that, there is a little personal message at the end where the bear sings.
The artist mentor you shared with me a while back about drawing from your heart (or what you like or something like that) changed me and I started to let “seeking external validation” go and focus on what I like. This is something you did for me, I will be forever thankful for it.
I’m glad you are my friend and I love you, Vic 🙂
Art Project: “Surfing the Apocalypse”
The Two Rules I had for myself
could never lean into seeking external validation, all of it had to be what I found had meaning to me.
I picked around twenty people to share this with, personally and you are one of them. You never have to watch, share or reply. I love it and watch all my videos over and over…this has been very healing to me.
This is a reflection of my how my brain interprets the world around it and how I see things.
oh and pay no attention to the likes thing below, it’s some code I put in to be funny and now I don’t know how to get rid of it, nor do I care… lolz.

real small towns with fake stories by fake people with real heart.
These fake beings existed in my real head but it started getting overcrowded in my noggin. So to make some room, I built them a fake world they could live in.
