kraljica is queen, right? and it’s pronounced carica? yes? (man I hope because you are me and Heather’s carica/kraljica/queen).

I have finished my animated short and this is your formal invite to watch it. You’ll need 25 minutes to see the entire thing (if you want, you surely don’t have to and it’s a-ok to scrub the vid).

You have always had a special place in my heart, Noli. Heather and I both concur that you are one of the most bad ass badasses I’ve ever met. I wish nothing but success for Unicat and now that we’re going to be on the east coast, we must come and see (and I’m happy to particpate in a show if I’m ever a fit).

This animation is what we’ve discussed before, it’s my art (and art direction) with the use of Ai doing the heavy lifting of being my inbetweener and animator for my work.

It also focuses on how my brain sees the world currently and it’s been healing for me because all the way through this, around 20 people were held in my mind as I completed it. You were one of them, because you mean a lot to me (and there’s a little personal shoutout for you at the end).

The Two Rules I had for myself

1. could never lean into seeking external validation, all of it had to be what I found had meaning to me.
2. I picked around twenty people to share this with, personally and you are one of them. You never have to watch, share or reply. I love it and watch all my videos over and over…this has been very healing to me.

This is a reflection of my how my brain interprets the world around it and how I see things.
