Thigville

Art, satire and friendly narcissism

Just Add Motion Blur

Hi Ty,

I wrote this stream of consciousness – and didn’t really spillcheck.

I have finished my animated short and this is your formal invite to watch it. You’ll need 25 minutes to see the entire thing (if you want, you surely don’t have to and it’s a-ok to scrub the vid).

I want you to know that you mentorship was very benficial for me, but mainly because it made me stop seeking external validation. Out of all the things I learned, the ability to say “I stand on my own and I like me.”

I composed all the music, lyrics, art, animation and video. If you have questions feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to answer what/how I did things.

Art Project: “Surfing the Apocalypse”

The Two Rules I had for myself

  1. could never lean into seeking external validation, all of it had to be what I found had meaning to me.
  2. I picked around twenty people to share this with, personally and you are one of them. You never have to watch, share or reply. I love it and watch all my videos over and over…this has been very healing to me.

This is a reflection of my how my brain interprets the world around it and how I see things.

There is a very special thank you personally, for you at the end where the blue bear starts singing.

oh and pay no attention to the likes thing below, it’s some code I put in to be funny and now I don’t know how to get rid of it, nor do I care… lolz.
